Pregnancy can’t be a joke and certainly not an unwanted, teenage pregnancy, the reason why I was skeptical about watching the ‘light-hearted’ Juno. The film doesn’t quite position itself on abortion. Instead, it’s a smart yet sensitive film, more a coming-of-age drama with believable American youngsters rather than TV-perfect Beverly Hills types, some great, ironic bit of writing and scintillating performance from Page.
