Amid the escalating war situation ravaging both Israel and Gaza Strip, Israel's military said about 1,500 bodies of Hamas militants were found in Israeli territory. They also confirmed about gaining control in the country's south and restoring full control over the border on the fourth day of fighting following an unprecedented surprise attack.

According to the spokesperson of Israel Military Richard Hecht, no Hamas fighters have crossed into Israel since last night, although infiltrations could still be possible. Israel has previously reported 900 soldiers and civilians killed, and Palestinian authorities have reported about 700 deaths in Gaza and the West Bank.

Previously, Hamas terrorists yesterday threatened to kill an Israeli civilian hostage any time if there is an attack on civilians in the Gaza Strip without warning, said a spokesperson of the designated militant outfit.

As the devastating attacks continue to destroy both Israel and Gaza Strip, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday said his country "did not start the war, but will finish it”.

Netanyahu further elaborated, “We didn’t want this war. It was forced upon us in the most brutal and savage way. Though Israel didn’t start this war, Israel will finish it.”

Asserting that the terrorists of Hamas will soon understand that they have "made a mistake of historic proportions" by attacking Israel, Netanyahu said, "Once, the Jewish people were stateless. Once, the Jewish people were defenseless. No longer. We will exact a price that will be remembered by them and Israel’s other enemies for decades to come."

The Israeli Prime Minister said that the "savage attacks that Hamas perpetrated against innocent Israelis are mindboggling". "Slaughtering families in their homes, massacring hundreds of young people at an outdoor festival, kidnapping scores of women, children and elderly, even Holocaust survivors. Hamas terrorists have bound, burned and executed children," he noted.
