Are you having trouble coming up with healthy breakfast ideas? It's almost impossible to think of options for your busy mornings, especially when you want something quick and easy. Most people turn to rolled oats and add good-for-you ingredients, such as plain Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and cottage cheese. Likewise, they might get fuel from egg muffins, peanut butter toast and breakfast tacos, but these things aren't ideal. Why?

When you try new breakfast recipes, you have to think about more than just the calories, fat, carbs, and protein. It has to taste good and be easy to prepare. Things like banana bread might seem like they should be part of healthy breakfast ideas, but they aren't because of the fat. If you're like me and push yourself hard each day, you want something better, and I have it.

Traditional Oats Overnight Options That Don't Work

Overnight oats are designed to be the top, easy healthy breakfast. This no-cook option can be mixed up in a jar and eaten cold the next morning. Then, you can add toppings, such as nut butter (almond butter and the like), almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and chocolate chips.

There are tons of easy breakfast recipes out there showing you how to make this healthy breakfast idea and including things to add, such as fresh fruit. Though old-fashioned rolled oats are extremely nutritious, the additions of maple syrup, nut butter, and Greek yogurt make it more fattening, which isn't good for your body.

I've chosen to eat healthy foods because I want the best for my body. This led me to try more healthy breakfast ideas and came up flat. While the addition of almond milk, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds can be healthful, it's not the same as having something crafted specifically for your body.

The traditional overnight oats are made with rolled oats or steel-cut oats and are touted as a healthy breakfast idea. Though the oats soak in milk, and you eat them cold, it's often not enough! I've got something better, and it's called HOLOS. An organic overnight muesli is chock-full of protein, probiotics, fiber and all the nutrients you need to refuel. We’ll talk more about that in a minute.

Other Healthy Breakfast Ideas

If you're like most people, you search online for healthy breakfast ideas and generally come up with overnight oats. However, there are other options, such as:

Homemade Granola Recipes

What is homemade crunchy granola? It usually uses oats and other ingredients that have been toasted to bring out their crunchiness. Likewise, it's mixed with sunflower seeds, protein powder, and other things to make it taste good. Plus, you'll have peanut butter or other nut butter options to bind it together. Alternatively, maple syrup can be used instead of peanut butter.

Traditionally, people think homemade granola is one of the top breakfast ideas because it seems healthy. All the ingredients within could be healthful, but that doesn't mean they are good for you in those proportions.

Since it sticks together, it's touted as a perfect grab-and-go breakfast, but these breakfast recipes just aren't that healthy. Though peanut butter puts in a lot of protein, it's also got a lot of fat and carbs. Depending on your body type and workout routine, those things might not be ideal. You're also adding more calories than needed, especially when you add toppings, such as coconut flakes or chocolate chunks.

Cottage Cheese with Almond Butter and More

Cottage cheese is often considered a snack for most people, but some eat it, along with toast or English muffins, as a way to get protein to fuel themselves for the rest of the day. I'm not saying it won't do the job, but again, it's full of fat and dairy, which could be problematic for many people trying to lose weight or get fit.

Things like overnight oats might be slightly better, but it all depends on the ingredients you use. When you try HOLOS, you'll never go back to the traditional overnight oats and won't need all those breakfast recipes because it mixes things up while still giving you the perfect balance of protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and much more.

Baked Oatmeal with Chocolate Chips and Chia Seeds

Similar to overnight oats, baked oatmeal is another of those breakfast ideas that seem healthy initially. However, baked oatmeal is often loaded with sugar and fat to make it taste good. You'll likely still take the oats and soak them overnight, but it's too easy to add toppings and go overboard.

As far as breakfast ideas go, it's the only option for me, and I tell everyone I know how much easier it is to buy and prepare HOLOS because you soak overnight in milk, similar to traditional overnight oats.

Banana Bread Made with Dried Fruit Mix-Ins

We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and many people turn to quick and easy things to avoid a ton of meal prep in the morning. Banana bread, breakfast cookies, and similar foods sound good because they can be eaten cold, and you can make a big batch. However, they may not be a healthy option.

Overnight oats can seem a little healthier, especially if you add peanut butter and other healthy ingredients, but the fact is - they aren't! You only want the good stuff for your first meal of the day, and HOLOS is where it's at! HOLOS is a mix of oats, chia seeds, berries, nuts and all the nutrients you need to start your day.

Breakfast Tacos

I know everyone is on a taco kick, and this is a fad I think will fade away quickly because we all know that tacos of any sort aren't the healthiest option.

Breakfast tacos generally feature whole grains from the tortilla, and you can add whatever toppings you like. Most people choose turkey sausage, bacon, and ham as the protein, but none of those are necessarily healthy. Likewise, they'll add potatoes, cheese, and many other things to create something tasty and delicious.

If you're like me, you love oatmeal, and the overnight oats from HOLOS are ideal. There's no need to grab your instant pot or do much meal prep. Simply mix the HOLOS with your favorite milk and store it in the fridge overnight. It's the perfect solution and makes a great breakfast without the fuss and meal prep.

Scrambled Eggs with Avocado Toast

Everyone is focused now on healthy fats, and avocado is one of the so-called best there is for that. While every single body requires fat, I feel that eggs and avocado toast just aren't it. Some people dress it up and turn it into a crustless quiche made with sweet potatoes and other healthy ingredients, but they are likely eating way too many carbs and fat for one meal.

Overall, I feel that the overnight muesli from HOLOS are a much better alternative, and there are many flavors to choose from. You'll never get bored because they are delicious, and they are all vegan, gluten-free, and organic. Each pouch holds:

  • 12g fiber
  • 20g plant-based protein
  • 1 billion CFU probiotics
  • 13 minerals and vitamins

Are you interested in learning more? Below, I've included a list of the products available from HOLOS:

  • Berries
  • Cocoa
  • Vanilla
  • Maple + Almonds
  • Apple + Cinnamon
  • Caramel + Raisins
  • Chai

For your first HOLOS order, you'll even receive their signature jar completely for free. It's an absolute game-changer to mix the muesli with your milk of choice and toppings the next morning.

Protein Powder

If you want to eat healthy foods, you might make overnight oats because of their creamy texture. Some people often choose breakfast cookies or chia pudding, but regardless, you add protein powder to bulk things up and ensure that you're getting enough for the day.

The problem is that eating too much protein can be bad for you, just as it is to drink too much water. Therefore, you have way too much planning to determine how much protein is in the ingredients and the powder.

Generally, it's much easier to purchase overnight muesli from HOLOS. You'll get a perfect blend of ingredients that take care of everything your body needs for a meal. Many people often eat it as a healthy snack between meals, too. It's so versatile and comes in a ton of flavors, so you'll always have something tasty and ready for the day ahead.

Though none of the HOLOS products are sugar-free, they are all sugar-conscious, which means there's less sugar in them than others. The creators of HOLOS decided to use real sugar sources instead of sugar alternatives that aren't good for you. Plus, you'll likely find that all of these products are healthier compared to what you get in the breakfast aisle of your grocery store because they're designed for on-the-go people like you!

Why Are Overnight Oats So Popular?

When it comes to finding easy breakfast ideas, overnight oats are one of the most popular options. They feature tons of health benefits because they have more protein and fiber than other meals. Plus, overnight oats have vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, manganese, copper, phosphorus, zinc, and iron.

Overall, overnight oats are much healthier than some options you could choose for breakfast, and HOLOS is one of the best solutions. In fact, HOLOS offers an all-in-one breakfast solution called overnight muesli. A brief comparison of muesli and oats shows how much better muesli is.

You don't have to mess with mixing and measuring when you purchase the special jar, and you can mix and match products in your subscription box to get everything you want.

While there's no secret ingredient with HOLOS overnight muesli, you'll think it's the most delicious thing you've ever tasted. In fact, you'll never go back to unhealthy breakfast choices because you'll know you can have vanilla, chocolate, or whatever flavor you want without the extra carbs and calories.

A healthy breakfast is possible with HOLOS overnight muesli, and the benefits are excellent. Here are the main advantages:

Better Digestion

The power of letting the muesli soak overnight is a complete game changer. Allow me to explain.: Soaking the muesli overnight reduces the phytic acid content present in some of our muesli ingredients better than cooking it. The phytic acid is an antioxidant naturally present in grains, legumes, tubers and certain vegetables. It is considered an anti-nutrient because it affects the absorption of minerals such as iron, zinc, and manganese from the food. Moreover, the soaking process makes the muesli easier to digest

Helps You Feel Full for Longer Periods

Protein is well-known for helping you stay full and feel full for longer periods. This is because it has resistant starch in it. Overall, that can reduce your insulin spikes throughout the day, help with weight loss, and ensure that you aren't hungry before lunchtime.

Saves Time and Money

Traditionally, the ingredients for overnight oats aren't expensive, so you can save money when buying them. However, HOLOS overnight muesli is way more than just oats and the combination of their ingredients can be pretty expensive and hard to assemble. That’s why HOLOS goes a step further and prepackages everything: gluten-free rolled oats, sprouted brown rice protein powder, fruits, maple sugar & brown sugar, spices, seeds, nuts, superfoods, and probiotics.  That’s quite a lot, right? That’s why each serving of HOLOS offers you the optimal combination of superfoods ration to keep you fulfilled and energized for a long time.

But don’t worry, HOLOS makes it so easy for you by packaging every meal in a single-use recyclable bag, so you get the perfect nutrients every single morning. You know it's all organic, vegan, gluten-free, and healthy for you, as well. When you choose the subscription box that meets your needs, you will save money on the most important meal of the day!

Why the Additions Aren't Healthy

There's nothing wrong with splurging if you don't do it often, but that's the issue for most people. It's so easy to add too much of one ingredient, turning your overnight oats into a decadent dessert instead of a healthy breakfast.

Things like nut butter and maple syrup can add sweetness and flavor, but putting in too much will cause you to consume calories without realizing it.

Portion control is something many people haven't mastered, and that's okay! I'm one of them! However, I don't have to worry about it during breakfast time because I have HOLOS on my side.

One pouch is a serving size, so there is no need to measure anything. Plus, when you get the HOLOS jar (included with your first order), you can quickly mix everything up without worrying if you've added too much milk. It's the perfect solution for busy people, and it will save you a lot of time and money. Likewise, you'll feel confident knowing that you're doing something good for your body!

Why Do You Need a Healthy Breakfast?

I've heard that breakfast is the most important meal for countless years, but I didn't really start paying attention until I got older. Instead, I'd grab a coffee and possibly a pastry and head out the door for my day.

There really are amazing benefits of eating a healthy breakfast, and overnight muesli from HOLOS could be the best solution. Here's why:

Better Focus and Concentration

Eating breakfast will improve your focus and concentration. You can't do much when you're hungry because your body craves nutrients. Refuel each morning with HOLOS!

Lift Your Mood

I've woken up on the wrong side of the bed many times, but breakfast seems to balance out my emotions and mood for the day!

Manage Your Appetite

When you consume protein during breakfast, it helps you feel fuller for longer. Additionally, incorporating complex carbohydrates in your breakfast is an excellent way to maintain satiety as they are digested more slowly. This means you're not reaching for a candy bar when the afternoon slump rolls around or while you're waiting to go to lunch.

Helps Your Immune System

Eating a balanced breakfast will help your body fight infection easily. This will lower your risk of diabetes, heart disease, and much more.

Who Created HOLOS, and Why Is It the Epitome of a Healthy Breakfast?

Samuel Scofy was a Quebec City entrepreneur who hustled at tech startups to become the best. However, this soon affected his health, and he searched for answers. As curiosity often does, this led him to alternative options, and he met with Christophe Contant, an holistic health coach. The man prescribed movement, whole foods, and time in nature, which began to alleviate his pains.

He found a recipe that changed his life because it healed his gut, restored his energy, and got the wheels turning. The next two years brought Chris, Samuel, and Charles Sansregret, an investor, together to brainstorm, fundraise, and tweak the recipe to create the product known as HOLOS today.

Is HOLOS the Same as Overnight Oats?

HOLOS is an overnight muesli.. It’s called muesli because it’s much more than just oats. In fact, you not only get rolled oats as the base of the meal, but you also get plant-based protein, nuts, seeds, fruits, spices, superfoods, and probiotics. All the work has been done for you because someone else created the mixture; you simply add your milk and grab it to eat the next day!

Why Is HOLOS Better than Traditional Overnight Oats?

The makers of HOLOS spent the time and energy necessary to ensure that the products you purchase are designed to be as healthy and tasty as possible. You don't have to measure ingredients or count carbs/protein/fat because it's already done. In fact, HOLOS  muesli is a perfect mix of a variety of ingredients (oats, grains, nuts, fruits, protein, superfoods and probiotics). All those ingredients are mixed in the ideal proportion to have balanced Nutrition facts.

Most of the oat's overnight products don't have a variety of ingredients such as HOLOS.

That’s why my recommendation is to browse through the many products available to see the nutrition facts and ingredients list. That will help you understand which options might be ideal for you and your health needs.

Is Organic Food Better, and Why?

Many people like to buy organic food because it is better for the environment. Studies have shown that the nutritional value between conventional and organic foods is similar. Still, you wish to be mindful about what you put into your body, and organic is the way to go!

How Does HOLOS Work?

It's incredibly easy to order from HOLOS through the build my box subscription. Let's learn about that below:

What Is the Build My Box Subscription?

The first step is to choose your box size. The one-time and subscription options come in boxes of 12. However, you'll get more perks if you select the subscription-based version.
