A Jammu and Kashmir policeman was arrested today for allegedly taking pictures of a woman with his cellphone in Ganderbal district of the state.
A woman noticed that a cop posted on duty at Ganderbal bypass crossing was taking her pictures, a police official said. Later several locals the policeman for committing such a mistake.
"We have arrested the cop and a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations have been taken up,” the police official said.
Earlier this year, a J&K police official was suspended after he snatched away money from a roadside beggar.
