Delhi and its adjoining areas received heavy rainfall on Thursday morning, bringing relief from humid weather.
The heavy downpour that started early morning caused waterlogging and traffic jams in several areas.
News agency ANI reported severe waterlogging in many areas in Ghaziabad and the caving in of a road in Vasundhara.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said heavy to very heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi.
Thursday’s rains brought the temperature down to 28 degrees Celsius.
