As 2023 ends today, we look back at the box office performance of Bollywood films this year. Several Hindi films' performances in 2022 have been fantastic. As most filmmakers and actors had a tough and worst year in 2022, this year we witnessed some of the blockbusters. Bollywood films brought back audiences to the theatres and also it has been a great one for the producers in terms of business. From Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2', and Adah Sharma's 'The Kerala Story' to Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal', each of these films has entered the coveted 'Blockbuster' club in India.

Not only Hindi films, regional films also succeded in striking a chord with the audience as we got several blockbusters this year. Some of the pan-India movies like 'Jailer', 'Leo', 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' and 'Salaar' among others have registered moolah at the pan-India box office.
Also, talking about the personal front, many Bollywood celebs got married in 2023. From Kiara Advani-Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha to Randeep Hooda-Lin Laishram, many celeb couples took the plunge. Also, many celebs left for the heavenly abode leaving a void not only in the industry but also in our hearts. So, this year has been a year mixed with sadness as well as happiness.
