The year 2023 has been a great one for movies like 'Jawan', 'Pathaan', 'Gadar 2' and 'Animal' among others that are blockbusters. But some big-budget movies with big star casts tanked at the box office. These films include Prabhas' Adipurush', Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Raniganj' etc. Some films, despite getting positive reviews failed to perform well in theatres.

Here's the list of the biggest Bollywood flops of 2023.
'Adipurush'
The movie created so much buzz and hype before its release but was a huge disappointment. It is one of the biggest flops of 2023. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon starrer mythological drama, directed by Om Raut received criticism especially for its dialogue. It also starred Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh.

'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'
This year has not been that great for actor Salman Khan. 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' failed at the box office as it could only earn Rs 110.53 crore throughout its run in the theatres. The movie also starred Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Venkatesh Daggubati, Palak Tiwari and Raghav Juyal among others.
'Selfiee'
Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Selfiee' was a huge failure as it earned only Rs 23 crore at the box office. The movie was the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film 'Driving Licence'.

'Mission Raniganj'
'Mission Raniganj' starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra raked in only Rs 45 crore despite positive reviews. The rescue drama was based on the Raniganj Coalfields collapse of 1989 in West Bengal. Akshay played Jaswant Singh Gill, the brave engineer from IIT Dhanbad who rescued 65 trapped miners at the Raniganj Coalfields in 1989.
'Shehzada'
'Shehzada', the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster, 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' starring Allu Arjun tanked at the box office. The Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer minted Rs 47.43 crore worldwide despite so much hype and promotions.
'Ganapath: A Hero is Born'
Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Ganapath: A Hero is Born' is yet another flop of 2023. The action drama that was made on a huge budget pocketed Rs 35.13 at the box office.
'Bholaa'
Ajay Devgn starrer 'Bholaa' got mixed reviews and it has grossed Rs 111.64 crore.
'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway'
Rani Mukerji starrer 'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway' directed by Ashima Chibber, did not perform well at the box office. It minted Rs 36.53 crore at the worldwide box office despite good reviews.
