1. Deepika Padukone’s Saffron Bikini In ‘Besharam Rang’

Deepika Padukone sported a saffron bikini in ‘Besharam Rang’ from ‘Pathaan.’ Surprisingly, the colour of the bikini angered a section of society. It was claimed that the colour and the choice of her clothes hurt religious sentiments.

2. Rashmika Mandanna’s Deepfake 

A troll morphed Rashmika Mandanna’s face onto the video of a woman who was entering a lift. Her face was morphed on that video and it was shared with vulgar and derogatory comments. The actor spoke about the viral video on her social media and many people from the film fraternity came forward in her support. 

3. Elvish Yadav and snake venom 

The ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ winner was booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, and for criminal conspiracy under IPC with five other people. Following a tip-off that the police had received from People for Animals, Elvish Yadav was allegedly caught in a rave party in Noida with poisonous snakes. Yadav has denied the allegations on his social media.

4. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ 

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri, ‘Animal’ was one of the longest movies in Bollywood. The film was criticized for its overly graphic and violent scenes. Apart from the violence, it also had misogynistic and sexist dialogues. While the director and the cast went on to defend the film, the film created quite a stir.

5. Sexual harassment case on Asit Modi

Asit Modi who is the producer of the popular TV show, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, was booked by the Mumbai police on charges of sexual harassment that were made by Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. Jennifer was a part of the show for 15 years before she quit. The FIR also named the executive producer and the operational head as well.
