Tottenham took control of their Europa League round of 32 tie against Wolfsberger with ease as Gareth Bale shined in a 4-1 victory in Budapest on Thursday.
Jose Mourinho was not surprised to see his "very tired team" lose at Manchester City, although he felt Tottenham were in the match until a "modern penalty".
