Mysaa teaser
Set against the backdrop of the Gond tribes, Mysaa's first glimpse video shows blood-soaked Rashmika's character in messy hair, giving an intense look with handcuffs hanging from her hands while holding a gun. The dramatic scene is backed by an impactful narration by a woman, describing the wrath of her daughter.
Nothing much about the plot has been unveiled in the video, but we get a hint that Mysaa promises to be a tale of resilience, rebellion, defiance, endurance and vengeance.
Rashmika is reportedly playing a Gond woman, choosing a violent path to rebel against people and forces that have caused harm to her and her community. Jakes Bejoy’s (Lokah) background score elevates the intense atmosphere of the film.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Rashmika wrote, "This is just the tip of the tip of the ice berg. We just wanted to do something fun for an evening to show you the world now and the serious stuff? Ohhhhohohohooio you’ll see it in a couple of months. So have funnn! (sic)," and added #RememberTheName.
Mysaa is helmed by debutant director Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films. Shreyaas P Krishna has handled the cinematography, while the action-packed sequences are choreographed by internationally acclaimed stunt director Andy Long, known for his work in Kalki 2898 AD and Liger.
The release date of Mysaa is yet to be announced.
