Kimi Antonelli continued his remarkable 2026 Formula 1 campaign with a commanding victory at the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin on Sunday, October 25. Starting from pole position, the Mercedes driver controlled the 56-lap race to secure his ninth Grand Prix win of the season, finishing 13.078 seconds ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen completed the podium. Antonelli made a strong start and maintained his advantage through a well-executed one-stop strategy, managing his tyres effectively despite pressure from his rivals. Lewis Hamilton finished fourth for Ferrari, followed by McLaren’s Lando Norris in fifth. Mercedes teammate George Russell endured a difficult afternoon, finishing eighth after receiving a five-second penalty. The victory strengthened Antonelli’s championship lead, moving him closer to becoming Formula 1’s youngest-ever world champion.
