Half an hour before the SSC English question paper-I in Telangana was supposed to end, whatsapp images of “Section-A and Section-C” started circulating on Whatsapp, prompting the authorities to initiate a probe into the matter.
According to a report by The Hindu, the district authorities have ruled out the possibility of a paper leak after rumours of suspected leakage of the question paper through social media started doing the rounds and demand for an enquiry by student unions was raised.
However, the officials have acknowledged that the pictures circulated on social media matched with the actual question paper, the report further said.
"SSC exams are being held in a foolproof manner amid tight security arrangements and there is no need for apprehensions on question paper leak," the report quoted Collector D S Lokesh Kumar as saying, adding that it is a case of examination malpractice and not a paper leak.
The SCC exams are conducted by the government to recruit staff in multiple various in various ministries and departments. Keeping the eligibility criteria and the age limit in mind, all Indian citizens can appear for the same.
