Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently took to her Instagram handle to engage with her fans and answer a few questions from them. She not only opened up about ‘personal growth’, but also shared the most ‘significant mistake’ of her life. Revealing how her choices were influenced by her ex-partner, Samantha revealed how she struggled to figure out her true likes and dislikes.
For those caught unaware, Samantha was earlier married to Naga Chaitanya. However, it was not clear if she was talking about him on Instagram.
Sharing a long and candid reply to the question which read, “If personal growth had a highlight reel, what would be the ‘blooper’ you laugh about now, and what’s the ‘Oscar-worthy’ moment where you nailed a major life lesson?” The actress said, “Perhaps the most significant mistake was my failure to understand my own likes and dislikes, as they were constantly influenced by the partner I had during that period. On the other hand, my moment of immense personal growth occurred when I recognized that even during the most difficult times, there was a valuable lesson to be learnt.”

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha were together for four years before getting married in 2017. However, the couple announced their separation in 2021. The ex-couple had issued a statement, “After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship.”
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya recently sparked patch up rumors when Chaitanya’s latest Instagram post showcased Hash, a French Bulldog they had welcomed together.
On the work front, Samantha was last seen in ‘Kushi’ alongside Vijay Devarakonda.
