On November 19, the Indian cricket team lost to team Australia in the ICC World Cup Final that was held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It broke the hearts of the Indians and also of team India. Virat Kohli was also disheartened after losing the match to Australia. Post the match, his wife actor Anushka Sharma was seen consoling Virat near the stands.
A pic that has gone viral on social media, Anushka was spotted hugging Virat after the match near the stands. She was seen consoling him. Virat's face was not visible as he was facing his back.
Before Virat and Anushka were reunited, a video from the match surfaced online where Anushka, sitting in the stands was seen fighting back her tears as she waited for the match to end.

Kohli, who was named the player of the tournament for his performance, ended the World Cup 2023 tournament as the top-scoring batter but it didn't help him lift the trophy of the final.
Kohli scored a 63-ball 54 before Australia skipper Pat Cummins took his wicket. The entire nation was heartbroken when he was dismissed including Anushka Sharma.
Several Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Suniel Shetty, Sonali Bendre and Dia Mirza among others congratulated the team for their effort.
