Mark your calendars! The much-awaited trailer for Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR starrer War 2, will be launched this week. Yash Raj Films (YRF), on Tuesday, took to social media to announce War 2 trailer release date.

Hrithik-Jr NTR starrer is all set for a grand release this Independence Day. The trailer release date announcement has added to the hype of the spy thriller.
Sharing a new poster, the makers wrote, "War 2 trailer out on July 25th. #War2 is set to release in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide (sic)."
The makers also revealed why they decided to launch the trailer on the particular date.
The note on the poster read: "In 2025, 2 icons of Indian cinema complete 25 years of their glorious cinematic journey. To celebrate this once in a lifetime moment, YRF marks July 25 as the trailer launch date of War 2! Here's to the most epic clash of the titans! Mark you calendars... (sic)."
When is War 2 releasing?
Backed by Yash Raj Films, War 2 has been directed by Ayan Mukerji, which marks his first collaboration with the production banner and also his debut in the spy universe. The actioner is Jr NTR's Bollywood debut, and his first project with Hrithik.
War 2 will hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, clashing with Rajinikanth starrer Coolie.
The film also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead opposite Hrithik.
War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, that starred Hrithik, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. It is the fifth film in YRF’s Spy Universe, after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.
The first instalment was directed by Siddharth Anand.
