Caitlin Clark is uncertain to play in the Indiana Fever's game against the New York Liberty on Wednesday due to a right groin injury.
The Fever officially listed her as questionable on the afternoon injury report.
She appeared to hurt her groin in the final minute of Tuesday's 85-77 win over the Connecticut Sun when she walked back downcourt holding the injured area after assisting on the Fever's final basket.
She was consoled by teammate Aliyah Boston and appeared to hold back tears on the bench while covering her head with a towel.
With the All-Star break this weekend, Indiana does not play again until July 22 following its game at New York, so it is possible the Fever decide to exude caution and give her time to recover.
Clark, however, is the league's most popular player and will be a focal point of the All-Star festivities.
She is set to compete in Friday's 3-point contest and is captain of one of the All-Star teams for Sunday's showcase.
Clark never missed a game last season while earning WNBA Rookie of the Year honours, but various injuries have already sidelined her for 10 contests this season - including the Commissioner's Cup final.
A left groin injury sustained after a win over the Seattle Storm on June 24 forced her to miss Indiana's next four games. Tuesday's victory was her fourth game back.
In 13 games this season, Clark is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds.
