Makers kept his look under wraps and it was not revealed in the trailer of 'Inspector Avinash'. Ahead of its release, Shalin's first look was finally unveiled and fans can't keep calm. "We have been keeping this look under wrap for almost one and a half years now. The makers were also very sure they didn't want to reveal till the right time comes. And so now it's out. It's a very good and tough role," said Shalin

When asked why he said yes to the role, the 'Bekaboo' actor said, "There are people who want to work with me and I really have a lot of gratitude for that. I wanted to do something very unique and different. I wanted to do something challenging that I enjoy. This was that role where I was getting to work with such great talents like Randeep Hooda, Neerraj Pathak, and everyone. I felt good that while working with them, I would get to do something different and learn a lot while working with them. So, I decided to do this".
