Australian-American actor Julian McMahon, known for his roles in Nip/Tuck, Charmed, and Fantastic Four, breathed his last, after a long battle with cancer. McMahan proved his versatility in both TV and film. He was 56.

Julian McMahon died in Clearwater, Florida on Wednesday, July 2.
Kelly Paniagua, wife of Julian McMahon, confirmed the news on Friday, July 4, who called Julian her 'beloved husband'.
In a statement to Deadline, Kelly said, "With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer."
"Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible."
"We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories," she added.
About Julian McMahon and his career
Born on July 27, 1968, in Sydney, Australia, McMahon was the son of Sir William McMahon, Australia's ex-Prime Minister (1971–1972).
He started his career in modeling before making his way to Australian television. He appeared in US television with Another World and Profiler, but became popular with his role of Cole Turner in Charmed. With his character of Dr. Christian Troy in FX’s Nip/Tuck, he rose to fame. He bagged a Golden Globe nomination and was also praised for his performance.
McMahon's television credits also include appearances in The Power, The Passion , Home and Away, Will & Grace, Robot Chicken, Full Circle, Hunters, FBI: Most Wanted, The Residence and more.
McMahon played Victor Von Doom, aka Dr. Doom, in Fantastic Four (2005) and its sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Premonition, RED, Meet Market, Red, Faces in the Crowd, Fire with Fire, Bait, and Paranoia, among others, are some of his other films.
