The 'Besharam Rang' song from Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham starrer 'Pathaan' has become a chartbuster. The song is being played at all radio stations and all parties during this holiday season. However, with the growing popularity of the song, an unwanted controversy has erupted, where a certain section of the audience is unhappy with Deepika Padukone sporting an outfit in saffron colour. Some are unhappy even because the outfit is a bikini.

Let's speak to some of our celebs and get to know what they feel about this entire controversy:

Pranita Pandit

Honestly, most of the pandits wear an orange dhoti. They take a bath with it and they only drape themselves with an orange colour. So, what's the problem if a woman wears an orange bikini?

I don't think it needs a reaction. It's a beach, what else are the dancers supposed to wear? People are making an issue out of nothing.

Subuhi Joshi

I think it's not even an issue. Forcefully putting a political angle in everything is really stupid. I don't think the makers must have thought something like this or Deepika Padukone must have thought while wearing orange. I think it's all just a political thing. Those who are making this thing so big, they also have many such videos where even in their party people are wearing orange. So, I think it's not even an issue. There are so many movies where a lot of boys wore orange shorts. No one made an issue about it, but a girl wore an orange bikini, you made an issue. I think we should not give importance to such issues.

No, it shouldn't be made an issue at all. I don't know why such a ruckus is happening. Why are people creating a fuss? When I watched the video, these things didn't cross my mind for once. I think it's the mindset. I'm really surprised and I'm not able to connect with the same at all. I watched the teaser and I liked it and it's been a long time since we are going to see SRK and Deepika Padukone back together. And watching Deepika Padukone in such a hot and sizzling look and this movie of SRK is much awaited.

Priya Paramita Paul

It is an absolutely beautiful song where Deepika Padukone is wearing swimwear and a lot of other outfits as well. That's the song which has good picturisation, good outfits, etc. I think these songs are for entertainment. Don't get deep into it like why somebody shouldn't wear this or that. I represented India across the world and I also wore a bikini for a swimwear round. I don't think there's anything wrong with what a woman should wear. The wrongness is in how you look at the women in what they're wearing. If the person's intention is bad, they will look at things in that way and make judgements. Rather than doing all these controversies to stop or ban movies or such songs, use your energy, to those places where so many rape cases are happening. So many minors and innocent women who are wearing salwar or saree are being raped every single day. What did they do? Did they wear bad clothes? It's high time to stop creating such controversies and they should focus on stopping the real issues.

Just because the song has two of the biggest names in the film industry, people think it is a good idea to object to it and grab some limelight. What else would one wear on the beach? A salwar kameez or lehenga? And since when did colors have copyrights?

Aadesh Chaudhary

Well, I don't think anyone should have a problem with it or make any comments or should have any issues. I found nothing wrong with it. I believe nothing has to be an issue as it's for entertainment purposes only.
