As of now, 'Kushi' doesn't have a major competitor but this week on September 7, it will face a tough one with Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan'. Directed by Atlee, Jawan will also be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

'Kushi' is about how Vijay's character Viplav falls in love with Samantha's Aaradhya when they go for an individual vacation in Kashmir. But their families don't approve of their relationship and they want to separate them. Both go against their families and get married and then after some days, differences emerge between them. How they deal with their differences, and problems amidst bitter-sweet moments in their married life is what the romantic film is all about.
