In the wake of the sexual harrasment charges on WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh by CWG gold winner Vinesh Phogat, the Indian wrestlers including herself, were pictured at Jantar Mantar staging a protest. The Sports Ministry has given the wrestling body 72 hours to respond on sexual harassment charge and if the WFI does not respond within the next three days, it "will proceed to initiate action against the federation in terms of the provisions of the National Sports Development Code, 2011".
