Anuj Choudhary is one of the most brilliant talents of Indian national cricket who is swiftly making his way toward international cricket. The young man has faced several challenges in his career so far but used every resistance in a way that ended up working in his favour.

Born in Rajasthan, and currently living in Delhi, Anuj is a right-hand batsman & right-arm off-spin bowler who started playing cricket when he was just 11 years old. The passion to make it big in cricket was always in the heart of Anuj and hence it kept on thriving for more at a tender age.

At the age of 14 years, he started bowling for IPL teams' practice sessions. He did it consecutively for 3 years and later also became a part of the Delhi U16 Team's reserved players. Thanks to his dedication, Anuj went from strength to strength. In  2019, he went To SM Stadium, Jaipur to bowl Rajasthan Royals (IPL) and also played DDCA & many more leagues All over India.

But a huge setback came in 2020 when he got shoulder & knee injuries following which he had to be on rest for 1.5 years. Talking about what it was like staying away from cricket for such a long time, Anuj says, "It's not at all easy to stay away from the game you love so much. It's very tough, to be honest. Initially, there is frustration in you when you are a child and you get injured but slowly you became aware that injury is part and parcel of the game."

Anuj further explains, "What's important during this period is to stay positive and try your best to recover from injury. A good rehab is very important. The key factor is here not to rush but be fully fit before you make a comeback. I was injured just before Covid 19 lockdown & it was really frustrating! During my injury period, I used to do the recommended exercises regularly. Also watched a lot of videos and lots of matches as well."

Anuj Choudhary is now all set to make a strong comeback and is looking forward to getting selected for the Ranji trophy.
