Rubina also shared with her fans that her husband Abhinav couldn’t believe it when they first saw their twins in the ultrasound. They didn't even talk to each other after leaving the doctor’s clinic. She said that it took time for them to understand that they are having two babies. After reaching home, both realised that they hadn't talked the entire day.

The actress further said that the next day they went for blood tests and the doctor called them again to the clinic. He asked them to be extremely careful. Rubina also said that they didn't inform their family first three months as the doctor asked them to be extremely careful. ''The babies can cross healthily first 12 weeks, and for that, we have to hold our reins and ask us not to share this with anyone. Because there are many chances when one of the fetuses perishes,'' she added.

Rubina also recalled her accident during the trimester. She said that after three months she went for her first scan where for the first time she saw the foetus growing. She was overwhelmed to see that. Returning home, she met with a car accident as a truck came and rammed into her car from behind, her back hit the seat first and then she banged her head. ''The day is still so refreshing in my mind that I get goosebumps talking about it. I was so petrified, terrified and I was scared not for myself but for these two human beings growing inside me,'' added Rubina.

She called it her 'worst nightmare' and that day she realised that the pregnancy journey is not easy.
