Ground Zero (June 20) - Amazon Prime Video

Emraan Hashmi starrer Ground Zero, which released in theatres on April 25, is all set to have digital premiere tomorrow. The gripping action-thriller is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar. The film revolves around the story of a BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey (Hashmi) who is on a mission to take down terrorist Rana Tahir Nadeem, aka Ghazi Baba—the mastermind behind the 2001 attacks on the Indian Parliament and Akshardham Temple.

Detective Sherdil (June 20) - ZEE5

Set in Budapest, Detective Sherdil revolves around the mysterious murder of billionaire Pankaj Bhatti (played by Boman Irani). Diljit Dosanjh plays Detective Sherdil, who along with Natasha (Diana Penty), tries to unravel the truth. The investigation soon turns into a complicated web of family secrets, mysteries and betrayal. It has been directed by directed by Ravi Chhabriya and produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Kishan Mehra. The film also stars Sumeet Vyas, Banita Sandhu, Chunky Panday, Boman Irani, and Ratna Pathak Shah.

Kerala Crime Files Season 2 (June 20) - JioHotstar

After the thrilling season one, fans have been eagerly waiting for the second season. The Malayalam-language crime drama series is directed by Ahammed Khabeer and Aju Varghese and Lal, are reprising their roles.

Prince and Family (June 20) - ZEE5

The Malayalam comedy stars Dileep, and is directed by Binto Stephen and produced by Listin Stephen. It is about a story of an introvert bridal boutique owner, who is married to someone totally opposite to him. The filled is filled with chaos and comedy, and promises to be total family entertainer.

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 (June 21) - Netflix

Kapil Sharma is returning with favourite comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3. Navjot Singh Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh are joining the show as panellists. Netflix shared the teaser with a caption, "Ek kursi paaji ke liye please 🤩 Har Funnyvaar Badhega Humara Parivaar."

Theatrical releases this week

Sitaare Zameen Par - June 20

It is the spiritual sequel to 2007 film, Taare Zameen Par. The film stars Aamir Khan as a famous basketball coach, Gulshan, who is rude and aggressive and gets into trouble for driving in a drunk state. He is even imposed a fine of Rs 5000. After breaking the law, Gulshan is ordered by the court to mentor a team of “intellectually disabled” people for a basketball tournament. Genelia Deshmukh plays his love interest in the film.

Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Sitaare Zameen Par stars 10 debut actors: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. It is directed by by RS Prasanna.

Kuberaa - June 20

Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is a battle between power, money and ethics. The film is directed by Sekhar Kammula and is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. Music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Niketh Bommireddy has done the cinematography.

The film also stars Jim Sarbh, Sayaji Shinde, Divya Dekate, Dalip Tahil, and Hareesh Peradi, among others.

Elio - June 20

This Pixar's sci-fi animated film is about a boy named Elio, who is in disbelief when he is suddenly transported to an interplanetary organisation, Communiverse, with representatives from different parts of the galaxy and they think that Elio is the Earth's leader. 

28 Years Later - June 20

28 Years Later is the third instalment of the franchise, directed by Danny Boyle. Alex Garland is the writer. The official synopsis of 28 Years Later reads: "It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.”
