Actor Manoj Bajpayee recently revealed fighting with the director of Gulmohar and his upcoming film Joram as he was not happy with his performance.

Bajpayee, in a new interview, revealed that he didn’t like his work in Gulmohar which was released on Disney Plus Hotstar earlier this year. Helmed by Rahul V Chittella, the family drama also starred Sharmila Tagore, Simran, Amol Palekar, Suraj Sharma, Kaveri Seth, Utsavi Jha, and Talat Aziz.

Sharing if he watches his films and analyses them, Manoj Bajpayee told Bollywood Hungama, “I feel bad. I just don’t like watching my films. I get into fights with my directors that you have not done justice. I watched both, Gulmohar and Joram, and fought with the directors of both films. I told them, ‘Bohot bura kaam hai mera, kaise tumne isko kar diya (I have done such bad work, how have you approved of it).”

But the actor revealed that his directors are always shocked as, besides Bajpayee, everyone likes his performance and appreciates him. However, the actor believes he is never happy with his performance and will always perform a scene differently. He said, “I am never satisfied. If you give me a scene to do on ten different days, I will do it differently. That’s who I am.”

Manoj Bajpayee currently stars in the ZEE5 film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, where his performance as a lawyer fighting against a godman, who is accused of raping a minor, has once again won him acclaim.
