The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival is here and will go on till May 27. Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund will serve as jury president and like every season, Indian celebs are going to be in full attendance this year as well

It all started with the opening day on May 16 when Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar and former cricketer Anil Kumble graced the red carpet. While Sara wore an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla golden embroidered lehenga, Esha looked stunning in a Nicolas Jebran couture gown. Manushi, on the other hand, looked elegant in a white gown by Fovari.

This year, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan is leading the Indian delegation to Cannes 2023.  He also embraced his cultural roots by choosing traditional attire for his appearance on the red carpet. “The embroidery on the shirt has been done by my local tailor. It makes me immensely proud to wear the tricolour on my chest," Murugan previously told ANI.

“Since we are doing so many events and showcasing our heritage at the G20 year-long plan, it is only fit that we tell the world about it," he added.

Oscar winner Guneet Mongia and actors Manushi Chillar, Esha Gupta and Kangabam Tomba are part of the delegation.
