'Tiger 3' Box Office Collection Day 5: Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif Starrer Witnesses Huge Drop

On Day 5, Thursday, 'Tiger 3' witnessed a huge drop at the box office. The Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer released in theatres on November 12.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Tiger 3' opened with great numbers. Till Day 3, the collection was good. But since Day 4, the collection has dropped. The India vs New Zealand cricket match on Wednesday affected 'Tiger 3's box office collection. It was the fourth day of release. On Thursday, on Day 5, the spy thriller earned only Rs 18.50 crore net in India net for all languages (early estimates), as per a report in Sacnilk. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 187.65 crore in the domestic market.

Day 1- Rs 44.5 Cr

Day 3- Rs 44.3 Cr

Day 4- Rs 21.1 Cr

On November 16, its first Thursday, 'Tiger 3' had an overall 16.44% Hindi occupancy.

Meanwhile, it has crossed the Rs 250 crore mark at the global box office. The film is inching towards the Rs 300-crore club. 'Tiger 3' had the biggest opening weekend for the 'Tiger' franchise and also the biggest opening for Salman and Katrina. The film entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in just two days of its release.

'Tiger 3' is the third instalment of the 'Tiger' franchise and the fifth addition of YRF's spy franchise. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, it opened with great reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films. Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist in it. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have special cameo appearances.
