The court also said the procedure for the execution of the death warrant will be initiated once the court-allotted week ends.
The court issued notices to Tihar Jail and also the four death row convicts over the plea filed by the government.

'If they (convicts) don’t file any curative and mercy petition, we can execute them on Feb 1,' a Tihar Jail official told Outlook.
The Delhi government had informed the high court that the execution of the convicts will not take place on Jan 22 as a mercy plea had been filed by Mukesh.
The four convicts -- Vinay Sharma (26), Mukesh Kumar (32), Akshay Kumar Singh (31) and Pawan Gupta (25) -- are to be hanged on January 22 at 7 am in Tihar jail. A Delhi court had issued their death warrants on January 7.
