India posted 471 runs in their first innings, powered by centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Rishabh Pant. However, a dramatic collapse saw the last six wickets fall for just 15 runs. England responded with 465, falling short by only six runs, thanks to a Jasprit Bumrah five-wicket haul and three scalps from Prasidh Krishna.
India’s second innings was more subdued, managing 364, with centuries again from Pant and KL Rahul. What followed was a nightmare. England ended Day 4 at 92/0 and continued relentlessly, reaching 188/0 before Bumrah finally broke through, removing Zak Crawley for 65.
