Bangladesh To Tour Sri Lanka In June-July; Doubts Over India Series Persist

Bangladesh will be travelling to Sri Lanka for an all-format series in June-July where the two teams will go head to head in two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.  (More Cricket News)

The Test series will be the first assignment in the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle for both the teams. The Test series is also important for Sri Lanka because they do not don the whites again till mid-2026.

The T20Is will also be of major importance for both the teams as Sri Lanka will co host the 2026 T20 World Cup alongside India. Sri Lanka will aim to fine tune their preparations with regards to the tournament while Bangladesh, who have appointed Litton Das as their new T20I captain, will try to assess the conditions with hopes of doing well at the World Cup.

The series starts on June 17 and ends on July 16.

1st Test: June 17 - 21, Galle

2nd Test: June 25 - 29, SSC

ODIs

1st ODI: July 2, Khettarama

2nd ODI: July 5, Khettarama

3rd ODI: July 8, Pallekele

T20Is

1st T20I: July 10, Pallekele

2nd T20I: July 13, Dambulla

3rd T20I: July 16, Khettarama

However, nothing has been made official regarding the Bangladesh tour till now.

Bangladesh will reportedly play two T20Is in UAE before landing in Pakistan to play five T20Is in May-June.
