Telangana people’s verdict is against KCR, he should take rest: TPCC chief Revanth Reddy

In a wide-ranging discussion with Outlook’s Managing Editor Satish Padmanabhan and other senior journalists, Reddy insisted that Telangana had gone from a revenue-surplus state during the times when Congress was in power to a debt-ridden region where government employees are not even being paid their salaries on time.

Attacking Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, Telangana state Congress chief A. Revanth Reddy has declared that the state’s people thought KCR had deceived them and his goodwill had dropped to zero.

He said that all the development in the state – including infrastructure and income-generating projects - dated back to the times of combined Andhra Pradesh, and the BRS government had failed to give the people their ‘haq’ (rights) and self-respect.
