In Maharashtra's Palghar district, three minor boys got lost after they went out of their homes to see a train have finally united with their families.
The kids lived in the Boisar area of Palghar and out of excitement to see a train, they left their homes on Friday and couldn't be found since then.
According to the reports, two of the kids were sibling brothers aged six and seven and another boy from their neighbourhood aged five also went on the venture.
Reportedly inspector Sandeep Kahale informed PTI that around 6.30 pm on Friday, a farmer at Asangaon village in the Vangaon area, located about 15 km from Boisar, spotted the three children crying on a street and immediately alerted Vangaon police station.

The inspector also said that the children were tired after walking along the railway tracks and was brought to the police station and provided with food.,
The boys reportedly told the police that they were from the Ganesh Nagar locality in Mumbai. That's when the police suspected that they were from the Boisar area of Palghar. Through a WhatsApp group for community policing where the police shared photos of the lost boys, an alert citizen contacted the Vangaon police as he recognized them.
With the citizen's help, the police contacted the parents of the boys and handed over the children to them on Saturday, reportedly.

According to the reports, the enquiry revealed that the parents of these children went out for work when they created the plan of venturing out to see a train.
Reportedly, after seeing trains at Boisar railway station, they lost their way on return and reached Asangaon where the farmer spotted them.
The parents thanked the police for tracing their children.
Superintendent of Police, Palghar rural, Balasaheb Patil said this was yet another success story of the district police's 'Janasamwad Abhiyan' (mass contact campaign) underway for more than a year.
He appreciated the involvement of villagers in the community policing initiative.
Patil also asked parents to ensure the safety and security of their children while going out for work.
