Karan Johar Announces Release Date Of His Next ‘Riot Of An Entertainer’ With Vicky Kaushal-Tripti Dimri

Karan Johar revealed the release date of Vicky Kaushal-Tripti Dimri film, which he is co-producing.

Karan Johar, on Sunday, took to social media and announced the release date of his upcoming production venture. The romantic-comedy is all set to bring together Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk in the lead roles, for the first time. The film has been helmed by Anand Tiwari, and the currently untitled project will hit cinema halls on February 23, 2024.

Starting with praising the director and co-producer, KJo wrote, “A film that is exceptionally close to my heart for various reasons…. @bindraamritpal (the producer and family to me) has not only grown to be such a force of content and talent but I’m proud of how he has created a company of warmth and creativity. A company that puts goodwill over any commerciality. @anandntiwari, his partner and director of our film, is the funniest guy in town with a golden heart! His film reflects both in absolute abundance.”

He then praised his actors, Vicky Kaushal by calling him an amazing actor and human being, Tripti Dimri ‘solid’ and Ammy Virk a ‘powerhouse’ of energy and artistry.

Lastly, he thanked Amazon Prime Video that has co-produced the film, and shared his excitement to collaborate with Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari for ‘multiple movies’.

While Vicky replied to the post, writing, “Karan!,” Tripti Dimri wrote, “I literally can’t contain my excitement.”

The film, which was earlier titled ‘Rola’, was shot last year. Karan, meanwhile, is also awaiting the release of his next directorial, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The film will hit the screens on July 28.
