Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her upcoming release, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, with her co-actor Ranveer Singh. The two actors were in Mumbai recently and Alia talked about career aspirations for her eight-month-old daughter Raha.
While speaking to the media, Alia mentioned how she wants her daughter to become a scientist. In a now viral clip, Alia is heard saying, “When I look at my daughter, I say, ‘Tu toh scientist banegi’ (You will become a scientist) because I wanted to be a scientist.”
For the unversed, Alia married Ranbir Kapoor last year in April, and in November 2022, the two welcomed their daughter Raha Bhatt Kapoor.

The new mom has often talked about suffering from mother’s guilt when she leaves Raha to wrap up her work. Alia mentioned to The Vogue, “It does make me anxious to think whether I am doing right by my baby and work. There’s so much pressure on women to ace both…almost like this old-school dogma that once you have a baby, you have to martyr your career or you’re not a model mum. It’s very important for new mothers to get that time off work to gather their bearings, and it’s equally crucial for corporations and industries to grant them that time instead of writing them off,” she said.

Meanwhile, at the same event, Ranveer Singh revealed he scored zero on his mathematics exam. He quipped, “Main laaya hoon. Jisko mila tha maths mein anda (I am the one. I got zero on hundred). Zero on hundred and minus ten for talking. So, minus ten and hundred.”
‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, helmed by Karan Johar, will be releasing in cinemas on July 28.
