Ajay Devgn-directed ‘Bholaa’, which stars him along with Tabu, remained steady at the box office. After earning Rs 4.50 crore on its first Monday, the film saw almost similar box office collections on Tuesday as well. As per the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film earned Rs 4.80 crore on Tuesday, as Tuesday’s holiday of Mahavir Jayanti in certain parts of the country benefited the film.

Now with the latest collection, the film’s total collection stands at Rs 53.58 crore, which is decent, as compared to the actor’s previous films as director, including ‘Runway 34’, ‘Shivaay’ and ‘U Me Aur Hum’.

Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#Bholaa benefits marginally thanks to #MahavirJayanti holiday… Ideally, Day 6 [Tue] should’ve been much higher than Day 5 [Mon] due to the holiday factor… Thu 11.20 cr, Fri 7.40 cr, Sat 12.20 cr, Sun 13.48 cr, Mon 4.50 cr, Tue 4.80 cr. Total: ₹ 53.58 cr. #India biz. #BoxOffice.”

The film’s steady run in the theaters is expected to continue for another week, until Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ released on April 21. Adarsh is hopeful that ‘Bholaa’ will register a good total by the end of its second weekend. He tweeted, “Another holiday on Fri [#GoodFriday] should also help the film begin Weekend 2 on a positive note. #BoxOffice.”
