‘Animal’ Box Office Collection Day 5: Ranbir Kapoor Film Rakes In Moolah, Collects ₹283 Crore In India

Ranbir Kapoor's recent film is close to inching the ₹300 crore mark in India in just 5 days of its release.

Ranbir Kapoor's latest film, ‘Animal’, remains unbeatable at the box office. As per the early estimates of Sacnilk.com, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed film has earned Rs 38.25 crore in India on Tuesday, the fifth day since its release, and is closely inching towards the ₹300 crore club. 

With an overall occupancy of 42.51 percent for its Hindi version on Tuesday. The film’s total business so far now stands at Rs 283.74 crore. In fact, currently, ‘Animal’ is Ranbir Kapoor's highest-grossing film in India, after ‘Sanju’, which had a lifetime business of Rs 342.53 crore.

Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted the film’s box office numbers and wrote, “#Animal Tuesday Biz is close to Monday.. Just a minimal drop. Day 5 is headed towards ₹ 37-38 cr all langs. This is trending like a different beast all together #RanbirKapoor.”

On the other hand, ‘Animal’ has already crossed the Rs 400 crore mark at the global box office. As per the recent reports, the film has minted a total of Rs 425 crore at the global box office. The official X account for ‘Animal’ announced ‘Animal conquers Monday!’ and confirmed worldwide box office figures to be Rs 425 crore.

Coming to ‘Animal’ and its cast, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor alongside Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, Shakti Kapoor, and Prem Chopra. It revolves around a troubled relationship between Ranbir as Ranvijay Singh and his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor, and is set amid a violent world of crime and underworld.The pan-India film was released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Backed by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, the film released on December 1 and clashed with Vicky Kaushal's ‘Sam Bahadur’ at the box office.
