Amid high expectations, the much-awaited new trailer for ‘Adipurush’, which is a big-screen adaptation of the epic ‘Ramayana’, is finally out. The Om Raut directorial features Prabhas as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.

While the teaser of ‘Adipurush’ was released last year, it received negative response for the poor quality of its VFX. After the reviews, the makers decided to take a step back and fine-tune the visuals, and we must say, the new trailer has been released with refined visual effects. The opening of the trailer looks nothing short of a big-budget Indian film, but the final battle seems to be not up to the mark.

It opens with the narration from Hanuman, and the familiar story — Raghav’s banishment, Sita’s abduction, Hanuman’s entry and the creation of the bridge to Lanka. The second half of the trailer has Raghav inspiring his army to fight by his side. But unlike the teaser, the new trailer focuses more on Raghav and Janki and not on Lankesh, who is glimpsed briefly right at the end.

To match the grandeur and magnificence of the film, the trailer was first screened exclusively for the fans of Prabhas in Hyderabad, followed by a grand launch event in Mumbai that was graced by the presence of the star cast.
