The Spaniard scored from long in the 78th minute to break the deadlock as the home side ran winners against their PL rivals. Spurs were without their captain Son Heung-min who has travelled with South Korea for the AFC Asian Cup. For Burnley, the best chance fell to Zeki Amdouni in the first half but couldn't score past the Spurs goalie.
