West Indies won the first match by four wickets after Andre Russell's all-round performance. In the second T20I, West Indies made 176 runs after opener batter Brandon King's unbeaten 82-run inning and captain Rovman Powell's crucial half-century. Russell also displayed some big shots at the end and played a small cameo to help the Caribbean side set a target of 177 runs.

England started well but fell 10 runs short at the end as West Indies won the match and also doubled their lead in the series. Sam Curran scored a half-century after coming up in the batting order at no. 4. Alzarri Joseph took three wickets and Akeal Hosein took a brace. Andre Russell conceded 66 runs in his four overs. On the other hand, left-arm orthodox, Gudakesh Motie gave just nine runs in his quota of four overs which made the difference.
