A leopard entered a court complex in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Wednesday and injured six people.
The Uttar Pradesh Police and forest department personnel worked to rescue the leopard from the Ghaziabad court complex.
Visuals surfaced on the internet that showed injured people being rescued and persons present in the court escaping for their lives.
India Today reported around 8 pm that the leopard had been captured by the forest department personnel.
"The leopard found at Ghaziabad Court is finally tranquillised and subdued. Forest department officials manage to sedate the wild animal," reported India Today along with visuals of the subdued leopard.

"Around six people have sustained injuries after being attacked by the animal, which is still on the court premises," said Assistant Commissioner of Police Abhishek Srivastav earlier.
According to police officials, the court premises were vacated after news of the animal's presence spread.
"Teams of the forest department and local police reached the complex and assisted some people who were stuck inside," Srivastav earlier said, adding that the injured have been hospitalised.
