In a recent two-part episode of the LadyGang podcast, released on Tuesday, Lovato (who prefers she/they pronouns) disclosed, "I feel most self-assured when I'm engaged in intimate moments," emphasizing how it allows her to be completely present, free from the distractions that cloud her judgment throughout the rest of the day. She acknowledged that this experience may not be the same for everyone.

Lovato is presently in a relationship with the indie rock musician Jutes, whom she met during their collaborative work on the 2022 album HOLY FVCK. Their paths often intersected on social media, with Jutes expressing his admiration for Lovato's impact on lives worldwide. Lovato responded with heartfelt appreciation for his affectionate Instagram birthday post, referring to him as "the best boyfriend in the universe" and "the perfect human."

Regarding their relationship, Lovato expressed contentment, describing it as both joyful and healthy. She confirmed their relationship in August of the same year.

In the initial part of the Lady Gang podcast, released the previous week, Lovato admitted that she wasn't always supremely confident around Jutes. She recounted their initial meeting during a music session, where she was immediately struck by his presence, even texting her friends about her nervousness. Despite this initial attraction, they didn't begin dating until a few months later, as Jutes was fully dedicated to his music. They remained friends for some time before confessing their feelings for each other.

On Monday, Lovato acknowledged that one of the rare instances where she still experiences timidity is when she has to perform in front of her boyfriend. The renowned singer of "La La Land" openly admitted that she feels anxious in situations like televised shows or performances, especially when her boyfriend is in the audience. Lovato explained, "I become nervous if he's present." Nevertheless, it seems that their collaboration works exceptionally well, as HOLY FVCK achieved a remarkable achievement by securing the top spot on Billboard's Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart for their team.
