Broadcasters have realized the potential of broadcasting and streaming Saudi Pro League matches, as more and more renowned footballers fly to the Middle Eastern kingdom to play in the league.

As the new season of the Saudi Pro League is set to kick off on Friday, the organizers of the Saudi Pro League have announced that they have secured broadcast deals with a total of 26 broadcasters and streaming channels. These networks and channels have gained exclusive rights to screen Saudi Pro League matches across various regions.
The exclusive streaming rights for the United Kingdom region have been bagged by DAZN. LA7, a free-to-air channel in Italy, has secured the broadcast rights for the league in the country. Brazilian football fans can watch SPL, also known as Roshn Saudi League, matches through the YouTube channel Canal Goat. On Tuesday, SPOTV said that it has signed a two-year agreement to broadcast three live games each week throughout Asia, including Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Macau. Middle Eastern audiences can enjoy SPL matches through MBC's Shahid platform and the channels of Saudi Sports Company.

DAZN remarked that it will broadcast three matches in a week. The broadcast would begin with the season opener match between Al-Ahli Saudi and Al-Hazm; the network added.
Sunday witnessed the grand opening of the Saudi Pro League, which took place in Al-Jawhara Hall in Jeddah.
