A 25-year-old Indian student died on Sunday night after suffering a fatal bullet injury in a shooting incident at Montgomery city in Alabama State in the United States.
According to a report by India Today, Mahankhali Akhil Sai, a native of Madhira town in Telangana was shot after a firearm of security personnel reportedly misfired at a filling station.
Sai was taken to the hospital where he declared was brought dead.
The parents of Sai, after receiving the news from the US Police, have requested the Indian government and the Telangana state government to help bring the body to the country.
In December 2021, Sai moved to the US to pursue his master's degree.
