Zishan Haider has worked with most of the channels and production houses in India in the past 25 years. He has also dabbled in politics and was a spokesperson for Congress for 12 years. He was a member of the film censor board and railway board but resigned from the party two years ago and is now coming up with a music video titled ‘Maa’ which is a tribute to his late mother, the song is co-produced by Gaurav Shukla.

Sharing more details about the song, he says, “I have had this song ready since the past 6 years and I wanted to make it but everything has its own destiny. I made this song for my mother and I have a feeling most mothers will relate to it.”

The music video for the song has been shot entirely in Lucknow, composed and written by Harsh Vardhan Deo, and sung by noted singer Ankit Tiwari, directed by Ravindra Gautam the music video is going to be released on January 24.

He also adds, “This song is about a mother and her relationship with her son. When we grow up, we often take our mother for granted as if she will be there forever and when we lose her, we realise that it’s too late and we suddenly want to hug and kiss her and talk to her for even just a second more but she is gone.”

“I also want to mention that all the money earned by this song will go to an NGO under my mother’s name which takes care of the girls' education. All the technicians who are attached to this project have done this for free and for that, I will be ever grateful to them,” adds Zishan Haider.
