Vijay Varma, the dynamic actor known for his chameleon on screen presence, continues to captivate audiences with his multifaceted performances in the recently released crime thriller of ‘Dahaad’, twisted tale of ‘Lust Stories 2’ and the cop drama of ‘Kaalkoot’. With every new character, he unveils a fresh facet of his talent, solidifying his position as a standout performer in the industry.
He has shown different sides to himself while playing characters and that has totally made him stand out. Last seen in ‘Kaalkoot’, the recently released teaser of his upcoming film ‘Jaane Jaan’ showcased VijayVarma packing a punch, leaving audiences wondering if they will get to witness him in action mode in this one.
In a candid interview, Vijay Varma openly discussed his approach to taking on various roles without fearing typecasting. He draws inspiration from legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan who themselves have never been afraid to be so. He said, “I have never been scared of typecast because the actors I have grown up watching did not believe in that either."
He further added, "There are actors who listen to outside noise and there are actors who hear their own voice. I am in the second group. It did not matter to me that people were thinking I could only do one kind of role because I used to feel I could never do negative roles. So, when I did not know about my capabilities, how can anyone else know that?”
Vijay Varma has thrived on a successful year with back to back powerful performances in ‘Dahaad’, ‘Lust Stories’, ‘Kaalkoot’ and now he is gearing up for his fourth release of the year, ‘Jaane Jaan’, the mystery thriller film written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh for Netflix. It also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat.
He will also be next seen in the much awaited ‘Mirzapur 3’ and Homi Adjania's 'Murder Mubarak'.
