'Ishaqzaade'

The film depicts the political rivalry between the Chauhan and Quereshi families. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, who were meant to be enemies, fall in love and attempt to flee. After numerous efforts to run, Parma (Arjun Kapoor) and Zoya (Parineeti Chopra) understand that they would never be able to escape their town or their fate, and so they decide to end their own lives in order to escape forever.

'Goliyoon Ki Rasleela Ramleela'

This Sanjay Leela Bhansali film shows two feuding clans, the Rajadi and the Sanera, who have been at conflict for the past 500 years. Despite all the difficulties stacked against them, Ranveer Singh (Ram) and Deepika Padukone (Leela) fall in love. To get away from the suffering, Ram and Leela elope and marry, but there is a plot twist, and the two are forcibly separated. After many twists and turns, when the village is on the verge of war, Ram and Leela decide to take matters into their own hands and kill each other. Later, it is shown that the two clans join forces to bury the lovers' bodies.

'Kites'

This Anurag Basu film recounts a love story in a unique manner. Barbara Mori and Hrithik Roshan's love story is unusual and it demonstrates that their love is stronger than any force that tries to keep them apart. Finally in the end, they are forced to surrender in the face of destiny, and they are reunited under the sea, where they embrace through death.

'Mirzya'

'Mirzya', directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is an epic love story set in ancient times that unfolds in two worlds, both with tragic endings. Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher, the lovers, are destined to meet again and only to die in each other's arms.

'Gangster'

This film portrays the life of a woman who falls in love with a gangster who wants to reform and change, but life is unfair, and the plot backfires on these lovers. Kangana Ranaut (Simran) and Shiney Ahuja (Daya) are a part of this tragic ending story where Simran jumps off a roof and Daya is hanged. The two are later shown to be reunited as they embrace in heaven.
