Ajith Kumar Escapes Injury After Racing Crash

According to a report by Filmibeat, Ajith’s car reportedly lost control and collided with another vehicle during the event. The actor is said to have escaped without serious injuries following the incident.

Ajith has competed in several international motorsport championships over the years, including the Asian Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup. His racing career has also included the 2003 Formula Asia BMW Championships, the Creventic 24H Series and the GT4 European Series.

The latest incident adds to a long list of crashes the actor has survived on racing tracks.

Ajith’s Previous Racing Accidents

In 2025, Ajith was involved in a crash during the GT4 European Series in Italy and reportedly walked away without injuries. Earlier that year, he survived a double-rollover accident during the Porsche Sprint Challenge in Valencia, Spain.

He had also escaped unharmed when his Porsche crashed during practice for the 24H Dubai endurance race.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India last year, Ajith explained that his immediate concern after a crash is checking whether he and the car are fit to continue. He said his focus eventually turns to finishing the race rather than recording a DNF.

On the possibility of quitting racing, Ajith said he had been fortunate that his injuries had never forced him to miss a practice session or race. He also revealed that he had undergone 29 surgeries during his film career.

Ajith Kumar’s Work Front

Ajith was last seen in Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly. He is now set to appear in Daredevil, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.

The latest reported crash comes as the actor continues to balance his film commitments with his passion for competitive racing.
