Johnny Lever is known to always keep meeting his fellow comedians and stand-up comics and taking care of them even when in need. The latest act of his philanthropy is when he met Naeem Sayyed who is more popularly known as Junior Mehmood. He is suffering from stomach cancer, and Johnny Lever paid a visit to him to inquire about his health.

As per a report on Times Now, Naeem Sayyed’s health condition has deteriorated suddenly and it has sent forth a wave of shock among the fans. Their concerns about his health have heightened manifold. Reports also suggest that he has a tumour in his stomach, which has led to him having lost almost 20 kgs in a very short period of time.

As Junior Mehmood, Naeem Sayyed has played numerous characters in many comedy films like ‘Humein Tumse Pyaar Ho Gaya Chupke Chupke’, ‘Journey Bombay To Goa’ and many others. He has acted in more than 265 films. He started his career as a child artiste. He has acted in as many as 7 different languages. Towards the later part of his career, he slowly transitioned to direction and he had directed many Marathi films.
The title of Junior Mehmood was given to Naeem Sayyed by the late legendary actor himself after seeing his immense potential as a comedy star. May he get well soon.
