The trailer of family drama feature film ‘Yaatris’, starring Raghubir Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Jamie Lever, Anuraag Malhan and Chahatt Khanna, has been released.

During the trailer launch event of the movie ‘Yaatris’, which was held in Mumbai and was attended by the entire cast, actress Jamie Lever and Raghubir Yadav spoke in detail about their characters and the bond they shared with other actors.

Jamie Lever said, "I have never gone for a vacation when I was young, because my father used to be busy at work many times, we used to only accompany him for his outdoor shoots. We never had experience of family holiday, but with this movie I got an experience of a family holiday and it was a great bond everyone shared on the set. Seema ji and Raghubir ji were truly like parents to me."

The actress also shared how challenging it was for her to do something that is completely different from her personality and her image, as she is known for her comedy characters. She informed, "I want people to see me in a different light. When people watch me on screen, they always perceive me in a comical way expecting something funny from my characters. I wanted to break this stereotype so when the script came to me, I quickly grabbed onto the opportunity because I wanted to challenge myself as an actor. It was difficult for me to bring a non comical character naturally because comedy comes to me very naturally but my director and coactors really helped me throughout. Meenu is very different from what I've played so far, she has a lot of remorse and anger towards her parents and doesn't share a good bond with her family."

Veteran actor Raghubir Yadav spoke about his role in the film. "Having encountered individuals like this throughout my life, assuming the role of this character came naturally, within the film, I am tasked with portraying a quintessential father, one whose relationship with his spouse and children mirrors that of the average middle-class household. This individual embodies the essence of a conventional father, steadfastly convinced of his own righteousness," he said.

Directed by Harish Vyas and produced by Kuku Mohanka of Akion Entertainment, the film is set to release on October 6.
