Celebrity chef Darnell Ferguson has been arrested by the police on multiple charges that include strangulation, burglary, and terroristic threatening in Kentucky. The 36-year-old Food Network star was booked into the Louisville Metropolitan Department of Corrections on January 9, according to online booking records.
Multiple reports also mention that Darnell Ferguson also faces charges of assault, criminal mischief, menacing, and theft-receipt of a stolen credit or debit card. WHAS 11 reported about the charges but it is still unclear about what led to his arrest. However, court records also state that he had a protection order filed against him on January 2.

Reports have mentioned about the protection order but have not revealed the identity of the person who filed it. The information has not been made public as of now. Additionally, it is also not revealed if Ferguson has an attorney to represent him and speak on his behalf.
Food Network describes Ferguson as a celebrity chef, restaurateur, and entrepreneur. He hosted ‘Superchef Grudge Match.’ He has also competed in three seasons of ‘Tournament of Champions’ that was hosted by GuyFieri. He also is a frequent judge on ‘Chopped’ and ‘Guy’s Grocery Games.’ Recently, this celebrity chef also appeared in OWN’s ‘The Big Holiday Food Fight’ and ‘Food Fantasies.’
